Great idea Mr. Nolan!

Hollywood’s production debate just got bigger 🎬 Christopher Nolan weighed in on the idea of a potential movie tariff proposal linked to Donald Trump, saying he does not understand how such a system would realistically function. Instead of punitive measures, the Oscar winning director argued for a stronger solution: a 25 percent federal rebate to encourage studios to film inside the United States. Nolan emphasized that large scale productions often leave the country because other nations offer aggressive tax incentives, making it financially smarter to shoot abroad. His comments highlight a growing concern in the industry about job loss and the long term health of American filmmaking. The conversation now centers on whether incentives, not penalties, are the future of keeping Hollywood competitive. 🎥
