Sunday Flatlay! Today marks almost exactly 1 year since I got the inlayed Sonora at Blade Show last year.

This is still one of the most impressive knife I have ever had the pleasure of handling! You can see and feel the perfectionism and passion that the guys at put into their products.

I can’t wait to see what they will bring to the show this year!

When does something, they do it right!

After conquering and dominating the pry bar field in the EDC world they now venture into knives. And oh my, what a knife it is!

The Swift is their second knife release. It’s an absolutely fantastic pocket EDC that fits the hand like a glove and packs enough punch (aka blade) to take on any task!

It definitely has the same elegant and flowing design language that you know and love from their pry bars. And the best part? It is 100% designed, made and assembled and finished under the same roof in Spokane Valley, USA.

This little beast has seen a ton of pocket time and won’t leave the pocket any time soon.

When Ramon asked me to design a knife for I had a few ideas.

I wanted it to be the size of the Redencion Street, one of my all time favorite knives. You’ll also find some features that I had realized on the Ryson: the dip on the spine of the blade that functions as a thumb placement, the large chamfers with the micro milling pattern on the handle and an overall very minimal but elegant design.

However, more than anything I wanted it to still feel like a quintessential Chaves knife that feels at home in their lineup. What do you think, did I manage to pull that off?

KNIFE 2026 is in the books and oh man, what an amazing show it was!!

After having to cancel in 2025 used the opportunity to completely revamp the whole thing! New concept, new venue, new brands and even more passion made this year’s show an absolute blast!

We had the insane pleasure of hosting our international friends from , from and whose arm probably hurts from engraving his drop of Kibokus at the booth! Everybody was more than happy to chat with people, sign products, take photos and just hang out and have a good time.

The booth was PACKED the entire time and you could feel the good vibes that were going on.

Super excited to see how this show will evolve and will bring in the future! I think it’s fair to say that everybody’s super proud to have this show in Germany!
