My inquisitive mind led me to send this photo to Casper Planetarium and they came back with the answer to my question - it's called Tycho Crater. Very cool stuff!

Tycho Crater is one of the most prominent craters on the Moon.

Night Two of the Supermoon over Georgia! Maybe one of my Astronomer friends (don't know if I have any!😀) can explain the bottom right portion of the moon that looks like an orange. If you notice, there is what appears to be a crater and then lines going out from it. some kind of impact perhaps?? Interesting what the eyes and mind interpret when looking at photos! 😀
