As y’all know, I’m absolutely obsessed with creating unique mini sessions! 🤎 I never want to offer the same old fall minis that everyone has seen before. I want every session to feel different, intentional, and full of nostalgia.
I’ve thought really hard about this idea, and honestly, my schedule is already slammed 😂 BUT I think this one is way too unique not to offer!
I’ve been trying to figure out what I wanted to do for fall, and I think I finally landed on the perfect idea:
🥧🍎 GRANDMA’S KITCHEN FALL MINIS 🍎🥧
Picture an old-fashioned fall kitchen brought to life right in front of our barndominium. I want it to feel like you stepped back in time and walked onto Grandma’s porch on a crisp fall afternoon.
The setup will include:
🥧 A vintage table with a fresh apple pie cooling on top
🍎 Apples throughout the setup
🥄 A flour-covered rolling pin
🧺 Vintage baskets
🤎 Gingham curtains
👩🏼🍳 Old-fashioned aprons
🪑 Vintage furniture and antique kitchen details
The kids will actually be able to “help bake” an apple pie during their session, making these feel less like a traditional photoshoot and more like a little childhood memory being created. 🥹
And this is what the exact setup will look like in front of our barndominium! I’m picking up the table from Facebook Marketplace today, and I’m going antiquing to find all of the vintage pieces and little details that will bring this vision together.
I’m thinking I’ll open one weekday evening for these since my schedule is already so full. I may possibly open a Sunday evening as well if I can move a few things around.
It’s honestly crazy that even on my ONE day off, I still find myself wanting to do something for my business. 😂 But I genuinely love what I do, and I’m so incredibly thankful that I get to create things like this for all of you.
I don’t take it for granted for a second. 🤎
I want these to be the kind of photographs that feel like a memory — the kind you look back on years from now and think, “I remember when we did this.” 🍎🥧🍂
