If, at the beginning of my career as a photojournalist, you’d have told me that I’d derive so much pleasure and satisfaction from working with illustrators, I’d probably have raised an eyebrow or two at you. But it’s been more than five years since I started working on Gravy with the fabulous folks at and I’ve loved every minute of it.

Here are 18 of the past 19 covers I’ve commissioned (you can see the latest on my previous post). And you should see the amazing illustrations AND photography on the insides!
