Here’s why automations are NOT working for businesses right now… and how to fix them in 3 steps 👇
Step 1. Before building anything, start with doing an audit of all the data and workflows that your business operates on. This highlights the gaps that need to solved. Also ensure that your existing data is clean, organized, and accurate.
Step 2. Target a simple, but practical gap shown within the audit and don’t create more automations until that one proves that it works. Ensure that automation saves time and works at scale before implementing more.
Step 3. Keep it lean. Don’t implement a bunch of automations just for the sake of it. Each automation should be introduced slowly and with specificity to ensure each workflow is moving the needle and actually built to last. Otherwise, you will overwhelm yourself with backend workflows that you don’t fully understand.
