Business Nugget of the Day

Most people think they need more customers to grow a business.

✨ Y'all, I found something and I need to tell everybody! Launched 5 days ago!

You know how I've been talking about AI and how amazing it is? Well today I discovered Aisha - and she is on a whole different level.

Aisha lives inside the Digital Green Book app, created by Onyx Impact, and she is built WITH US in mind. She centers Black businesses, Black culture, and Black community in every single answer. Ask her where to eat in a city - she leads with Black-owned restaurants. Ask her about news - she tells you how it impacts OUR people. Ask her about health, style, money, careers - she brings our perspective FIRST.

She feels like that brilliant girlfriend who has done all the research, keeps it real, and actually sees you. 💛

Look how I changed the color! 💗➡️🩵✨

The first image was created in pink, and I liked it. But then I thought, What if I try something different? So I asked AI to change the color, slightly change the wording, and give the image a new look that would stand out.

And look at the difference! 👀

This is another example of what I was talking about in my previous post. You do not always have to accept the first result AI gives you. You can keep going. You can redirect it. You can say:

“Change the color.”
“Try a different background.”
“Change the wording.”
“Keep this part, but redo that part.”
“Give me something more creative.”

Sometimes AI may not get it right the first time—and sometimes I may not explain exactly what I want the first time either. But I can continue the conversation, make changes, and work toward a result I like.

And remember, this is not limited to creating images. The same idea can apply when using AI to help with writing, planning, learning, organizing ideas, creating content, understanding something confusing, and so much more.

I’m still learning, experimenting, and seeing what is possible. And I have to say… I really like how this one turned out! 🩵✨

If you are an image creator, AI can help you. Sometimes you may have to continue working with it and redirect the image until you get closer to what you want.

It may not get it right the first time. You may have to say, “No, change this,” “Keep that,” “Try again,” or “Use this image instead.” But I believe that with patience and clear instructions, you can end up with some really good results.

This image is an example. I didn’t just ask for one picture and accept whatever came back. I kept making changes, giving new directions, and building on the results until I got something I liked.

But AI is not limited to images only.

It can help you write letters and emails, create social media posts, explain things you don’t understand, organize ideas, plan meals, prepare for interviews, improve a resume, brainstorm a business idea, create learning materials, help with everyday tasks, and so much more.

And no, AI does not always get everything right. You still need to review the results, ask questions, and sometimes redirect it. But when you learn how to communicate with it, it can become a very useful tool.

I’m still learning too. But one thing I have learned is this: You don’t have to know everything to begin. You just have to be willing to try, ask questions, and keep learning.
