Hello Social Media! It's been awhile...

Where have we been you may be wondering? Well, mostly working... but we have also been prepping like these birds and building a nest for our very own little one expected later this year 🥰👶

My pregnancy journey so far has been anything but easy, but we are excited to be moving forward into a new chapter of our lives. That being said I have certainly missed my weekend walks and was happy to see I hadn't completely missed birding season yet. I was lucky enough finding this beautiful couple building their own little nest.

Where did 2025 go??

This past year was filled with some incredible moments and some of my favorite photos I have taken so far. This year marked the 5 Year Anniversary of Holton Media's very first photoshoot. This was by far our busiest year to date, and we feel so blessed.

I probably sound like a broken record, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of you who support our little photography/videography business.

I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for 2026!

Did you know that in bird photography, larger birds like spoonbills and wood storks are actually much easier to photograph than the smaller birds? Birds that are smaller tend to be much more skittish and very fast.

I believe this is a Palm Warbler (but my identification may be wrong), and this little one was zooming from bush to bush until it finally stopped right here for a few seconds. It's not my usual style of picture, but I thought this little one was so cute!
