The enigmatic realm of dreams can be utterly captivating - and when lucid dreaming, it's all the more entrancing! I was inspired to construct something that encapsulates those surreal dreamscapes we often experience. I also decided to take a stab at manual Metahuman facial animation with Unreal Engine 5. It's still early days for me, but I'm loving the journey so far. Enjoy the video - any feedback is welcomed!

A short film created in Unreal Engine 5. I am pretty new to this software. This was the first time I set up an environment myself. There is still a lot to learn and improve on. This is just the beginning.

Tapt is Norwegian for Lost. I wanted to add some sort of a story in the shots, hopefully I have done a decent enough job. Any critiques, suggestions are welcome. Will be learning more about animation within cinematics in the coming months. Special thanks to the Quixel Bridge assets and the couple of Plug-ins and Blueprints I used from the Unreal Marketplace. This is my first time using the camera or sequencer in Unreal Engine 5. I just recently started learning Unreal Engine 5 and it has been a lot of fun. This video is a trial run, the map is pre-made and is called City Subway Train in the Unreal Marketplace. I will be making additions to the same map, will try to give it more of a "horror" theme and make another video later. Sort of like a before and after video. Hope you guys like it.
