Today marks the anniversary of the tragic loss of Conor Clapton, the beloved son of Eric Clapton. At only 4½ years old, this sweet boy left the world far too soon after a heartbreaking accident.
Though his time on earth was short, Conor’s memory lives on through his father’s music. Eric channeled his deep grief into the timeless ballad “Tears in Heaven” — one of the most emotional songs ever written.
“Would you know my name… if I saw you in heaven?”
Conor, you may be gone from this world, but you’ll forever remain in the hearts of those who loved you and everyone touched by your father’s music.
Rest in peace, sweet child of infinite beauty. 🌹
