🏐💜 ATHENS JV VOLLEYBALL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT — EVIE WEBER! 💜🏐

It’s been quite a week for our very own Volleyball Princess, Evie Weber! 👑🏐

Not only was Evie selected as a Freshman Class Representative for Homecoming Week, but her teammates also nominated her as this week’s Player of the Week (POTW)! 🎉

As a team captain, Evie continues to show what leadership looks like both on and off the court. She leads through encouragement, works every day to improve her own skills, and is always looking for ways to help her teammates succeed. Her positivity, determination, and love for the game are felt throughout our team.

And if you know Evie, you know she has a BIG heart for what she would probably agree is...

🌎🏐 THE BEST SPORT IN THE WORLD! 🏐🌎

Congratulations, Evie! We are proud to have you representing both your freshman class and Athens Volleyball this week! 👑💜🤍

Keep leading. Keep growing. Keep loving the game! 🏐💜

🏐💜 ATHENS JV VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 💜🏐

⭐ EVELYN BATES ⭐

This week’s Player of the Week is 8th grader Evelyn Bates!

Evelyn is a new addition to high school athletics this season, and she has stepped into the challenge like a pro. Her teammates nominated her for Player of the Week because of her constant positivity, continued athletic growth, and ability to rise to the occasion while keeping a level head.

Whether she’s learning something new, facing a tough moment on the court, or supporting the girls around her, Evelyn brings a positive attitude and a willingness to work.

Making the jump to JV volleyball as an 8th grader isn’t always easy, but Evelyn continues to show that she belongs on the court. We’re excited to watch her confidence and skills continue to grow throughout the season!

Congratulations, Evelyn! Keep working hard and bringing that positive energy! 🏐🤍💜

Congratulations to our player of the game and Player of the week this week‼️

Lexi has been out of commission due to an injury, but teammates nominated her due to her positive attitude, encouraging words, and dedication to the team!

Victoria dominated this week in both games with power serves and kills!

Looking forward to many more adventures with these two, keep an eye 👀 on them in the future of this program‼️

Great job, Ladies 💜
