FYI

Colorado’s fall colors may arrive earlier than usual this year. Dry conditions and drought stress can cause aspens to change sooner so don’t wait too long to chase that Colorado gold.

33/58 Colorado 14ers! ⛰️🤍 Mount of the Holy Cross ✔️

Backpacking into East Cross Creek was probably not my best idea. 😂 After summiting, having to gain 1,000+ ft back over Half Moon Pass with all my camping gear just to get to the parking lot? I could’ve day hiked this one. 😂

I’m a little behind on my 14er goal because I’ve been busy side questing , alpine lakes, PNW mountains and beaches, and Ozarks gems. But I wouldn’t have seen all those amazing places otherwise, so I’m okay with that. 🤍

Now let’s try to finish these 14ers soon. 😂 33 down, 25 to go! 🏔️
