I am "seized by the power of the Great Affection" and I'm not ashamed to claim it! I call the Blue Ridge Mountains my home, but pieces of my heart have been left places I have been and will be left in places I have yet to go. The ways to my heart are coffee and hiking, preferably together, but separate is adequate.
My passion is to create new relationships and strengthen already existing ones.
I've found that photography is one way I can do this on a regular basis and I enjoy it immensely. I started calling what I do "Rosebudd Photography" about three years ago, but it's more of hobby than a business. At first, I would take pictures of my little cousins, then one of my good friends trusted me with the task of taking her engagement pictures. I don't know what she was thinking, but I was blessed with the experience and all that I learned from it. My goal is to capture the perfect Christmas card orchestrated poses, but I live for the candid. The subtle looks between Mom and Dad, the goofy smiles of kids who just want to go run instead of listen to me say "Smile", the nervous laughter of seniors who feel really uncomfortable with everyone staring at them during a session, and the small touches between people in love. So, basically, I love Jesus, I love taking pictures, and I would love to get the chance to love on you while I try my best to capture your special moments, posed or random.
