Some sessions just feel a little extra special. 🥹🤎

This one was for a family I had the pleasure of growing up beside, which made getting everyone together in front of my camera that much sweeter!

And can we just talk about these THREE handsome little boys?! 😍 They absolutely stole the show! Between their sweet smiles, little personalities, and all the fun we had, I could have photographed them all evening!

One of my favorite things about extended family sessions is getting to capture all the different relationships within one family. The grandparents with their grandbabies, aunty and her nephews, the siblings, the little family units, and of course all the chaos and laughter in between. Because those are the moments that tell the real story. ❤️

The fall colors were showing off, the love was so evident, and this crew made my job way too easy!

There’s something really special about photographing people who have been a part of your life long before photography became your business. It’s moments like these that remind me just how much I love what I do.

Just got home, quickly uploaded a few from tonight’s senior session, and OH. MY. GOODNESS.

The golden light, the dress, the fall colors, and this absolutely stunning girl?! I AM UNWELL. 😍🍂

I haven’t even started going through the rest yet, but I already know this gallery is going to be something special.

I swear, some nights I come home and just stare at my computer thinking… I really get to do this?! 🥹🤎

I think fall might be spoiling me a little this year. 🫣🍂

I mean… LOOK AT THESE!

This was one of those sessions where everything just fell into place. The colors were showing off, the light was beautiful, and this family was so easy to spend an evening with!

We wandered around, let the kids have some fun, tossed a few leaves, and even made some time for mom and dad to have a moment together. 🤎

I love being able to give families a little bit of everything in their galleries. The family portraits for the walls, the silly ones that make you laugh, and the little moments you might not even realize I caught.

Just a really good evening with some really good people. And now I have the impossible task of choosing which photos to share. 😆🍁

A full circle moment that has my heart. 🥹🤎

Back in 2016, I had the pleasure of photographing one of my best friend’s brand-new twins. Fast forward 10… YES, TEN YEARS (how is that even possible?! 😭), and this past weekend I found myself behind the camera photographing those same little babies, only now they’re growing up and part of a beautiful family of FIVE!

I hadn’t seen Devon in years because, well… LIFE. Between kids, work, and everything in between, time has a funny way of getting away from us. But the second we were together, it was like no time had passed at all. We picked up right where we left off. 🥹

What made this session even more special was the story behind it. Devon and Eli recently moved into Eli’s childhood home, and they wanted to document their first year making memories there as a family. The same place that holds so much of both of their own childhood is now becoming the backdrop for their children’s memories. And if that doesn’t make your heart melt, I don’t know what will. 😭

The house, the fields, that dreamy fall light… it was all perfection. But what I loved most was THEM. The laughter, the chaos, the kids being completely themselves, and all those little in-between moments that tell the real story of their family.

Devon and Eli, thank you for letting me capture this chapter of your story. From photographing your tiny newborn twins to watching your beautiful family grow… what an absolute privilege. 🥹🍂

And can we just take a second to talk about the photography growth?! 🥹📸

Looking back at that photo from 2016 and comparing it to these now is honestly a little emotional for me 🫣. TEN years of learning, experimenting, finding my style, doubting myself, stepping away from the lens, picking it back up, pushing myself, and slowly becoming the photographer I always hoped I could be. I can see the difference in the lighting, the editing, the composition, but more than anything, I can see how much I’ve grown in the way I tell a story through my lens.

That girl with a camera 10 years ago had no idea where this little passion would take her. And while I still have so much to learn, I’m really freaking proud of how far I’ve come. 🥹

And seriously… where did those 10 years go?!

How beautiful is this senior?! 🥹🤍

I had the best time with her during her senior session! The fall colors, golden sunshine, and that gorgeous dress made everything so perfect!

She brought her mom, dad, and brother along too, which made the evening even more fun! We laughed so much, and I loved getting to capture a few sweet family moments in between her senior photos.

Such a fun evening with the sweetest family! So thankful I got to be a little part of this special season of her life! 🤎

Picking favorites from this fall family session was seriously IMPOSSIBLE. 🫣🍂🤎

Between the gorgeous fall colors, that dreamy golden-hour glow, a little vintage truck magic, and all the genuine laughter and love… AHHHH. 😭😍

And can we talk about the decision to keep shooting into blue hour?! BEST. DECISION. EVER. The light, the colors, the moments… everything just came together so beautifully.

This engagement session was perfection. I swear every single image is a favorite! 😍😭

We originally had an entirely different location planned for this session, but after running into some unexpected permit and logistical hurdles, we made the decision just a few days beforehand to change things up. And can I just say… I’m SO glad we did.

The golden light, the genuine laughter, the playful moments, and the way these two just naturally fall into each other. EVERYTHING about this session was pure magic. ✨

The in between moments. The ones that aren’t perfectly posed, where you can just be yourselves, laugh a little too hard, steal a kiss, and forget there’s even a camera there…this is exactly the assignment and they completely understood and executed.

Their love was so effortless to capture, and I found myself smiling and ogling behind my camera the entire time.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of documenting love like this. 🤎🤌🏼🥹
