A little family time + a big senior milestone. 🤍

We started the evening updating their family photos, soaking up that gorgeous light, mountain views, and even sneaking in a few sibling and mom & dad moments along the way.

Then we switched gears to celebrate their senior! 🎓 From laid-back portraits in the field to incorporating hockey 🏒, we made sure his session felt like him while capturing such an exciting season of life.

I absolutely love when we can turn one evening into memories of the whole family AND celebrate a milestone this big. Because senior year may be about one kiddo, but we all know it’s a pretty big moment for the parents too. 🥹🤍

Talk about a full-circle moment 🥹

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this handsome guy for his senior portraits — but this one hit a little differently.

His mom was one of my high school teachers, and I can still remember when she was pregnant with him. And somehow, here we are all these years later, with me behind the camera capturing his senior year. 🥹

Time is such a funny thing. One minute someone is telling you they’re having a baby, and the next that baby is standing in front of your camera getting ready to graduate high school.

So incredibly grateful that this little photography journey of mine keeps bringing me moments like this. 🤎 enjoy the sneak peek! 🤗

Did a little location scouting last night… and I’m definitely not mad about what we found. 🥹

Dirt roads, old barns, tall grass, quiet woods, golden light and two little models who are getting very used to being dragged along on Mom’s photography adventures. 😂

Sometimes finding the perfect little corner of nowhere is half the magic.

I think this one might be a keeper. 🤎

Went camping for the weekend and found this little hidden gem tucked right behind our site.

Obviously, I saw a field full of wildflowers with that dreamy evening light and thought, “Yep… I’m going in.” 😂📸

Was I prepared? Absolutely not.
Were there bugs? So many.
Pricker bushes? Yep.
Possibly poison ivy? We’ll find out in 24–48 hours. 😂💀

But LOOKKKK!

Sometimes the prettiest locations are the ones you stumble across when you least expect them — and apparently the ones that require risking your skin and sanity to photograph. 😂

10/10 worth it.

Just a little reminder that late summer sure knows how to show off.

The sweetest new addition to Cote & Sarah’s beautiful little family, and the luckiest little girl to have little Logan as her big brother.

There’s something so special about watching the people you love step into a brand new chapter of life and getting to capture these first little details makes it even sweeter. Those tiny lips, sleepy snuggles, and all that newborn perfection. 🤍

Lily Rae, you are already so incredibly loved. I can’t wait to watch you grow, see Logan become the best big brother, and capture all the memories still to come.

🌲 A Little Reintroduction…

Hi, I’m Michelle.

I’ve always been the person who stopped to take the picture.

Not because life had to be perfect, but because I knew moments never stay the same for long. Long before photography became my small business, it was how I experienced the world. I found beauty in the ordinary, the laughter after the pose, the tiny hands reaching for yours, the quiet glances, the wind through the trees, and the moments most people don’t even realize are happening.

Somewhere along the way, I realized photography wasn’t just something I loved. It became my passion… Because I don’t believe photographs are simply pictures. I believe they’re proof that we lived, loved, and belonged to one another.

When you step in front of my camera, I don’t want you to worry about posing perfectly or having children who sit still. I want you to breathe, laugh, play, and simply be together.

My hope is that you leave your session feeling seen.

And when you receive your gallery, I hope you don’t just remember what your life looked like…

I hope you remember exactly how it felt. In that season…

Northcountry Alpine Photography was built on one simple belief:
