Coming back into the world of wedding photography has felt equal parts hesitant and called — like I’m not fully equipped, yet completely prepared. It’s hard to describe.

When I first started this business, weddings were never the goal. If someone asked, I would say yes, but I never felt like it was my niche.

Somewhere along the way, my husband and a dear friend kept nudging me toward weddings — reminding me I don’t have to be anyone else, just who He created me to be.

After a lot of prayer, wrestling, and talking it through… I finally jumped in head first.

And last night — at my first wedding back in this space — I felt the Lord’s presence so clearly. He walked with me through every moment. There was such a calm confidence over me. Everything about the day was beautiful.

I drove home with the quietest, sweetest reassurance that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be — and so thankful He led me here.

I’ve seen this come up a lot lately, and a few clients have asked where I stand — so I wanted to share.

I truly love capturing every stage of life — family sessions, milestones, weddings, and all the little moments in between. Photography is my passion, and nothing makes me happier than preserving the love and connection I see in families.

At the same time, I understand the world we live in today. Privacy matters. My social media pages and website are public, which means anything shared can be seen by anyone. Some clients prefer that I don’t post photos of their children — or even their full session — and I completely respect that. Others love seeing their images shared and are excited for me to post them. I honor that too.

I always check in at the end of each session, but if we haven’t talked about it yet, please know you can tell me your preference at any time.

My rule is simple: I only share what my clients are comfortable with. Your family’s trust, safety, and comfort will always come first.
