On this Memorial Day I’d like to a moment to remember and honor and my Great Great Uncle PFC William Edward Hall KIA WWII.

He jumped into Normandy DDay and also into Wesel Germany for Operation Varsity where he was KIA.

It is unclear at the time of his death if he was a PFC or SSG. I’ve seen records with both and his tombstones says PFC.

I’ve been told by family he was buried in Holland but his momma demanded he be returned home. In 1949 he was returned to us and buried in our family cemetery in Bladenboro NC.

Started the afternoon with a 40th bday session in da studio! My client brought her hubby and he was nice enough to clean up the confetti lol

Then I was off to a prom send off! I didn’t get to get a selfie with the kids or parents but I did see my ole LT n got a selfie with him

Last year while photographing for League of Dreams I met while he watching his sister play. He was graduating from MSU and an upcoming photographer/videographer! Last weekend I got to see him AND his sister in action! He captured the first image of me with the Oriole bird and the rest are images I captured of him and his sister. I love dope connection and especially supporting our youth! Reach one, teach one!!!
