It doesn't only exist in fantasy and childhood dreams; it is conceived in every single moment, even the ones we normally consider “ordinary.” It is my belief that there is no such thing as mundane. The vision behind my photography is to capture the magic and adventure in those moments, not only with an artistic eye, but with the intention of documenting everything just as it was and as it was expe

rienced. Sometimes the everyday subtleties get lost in our memories, and it's my passion to not let a single detail be forgotten. Photography can be used as a powerful tool to encompass presence. Join me for a day, and have these images to look back on -- breathing the past back to life again, encouraging presence in the present. A bit about me: I am first and foremost a mother, a fierce friend, and a lover of anything that bears the fingerprints of life. Connection, between other people and the earth, are more palpable to me than the skin we live in. I'm an all-around artist, a nature enthusiast, and book worm. I started my business in 2012 in Charlottesville Virginia and have photographed the magic of nearly 100 weddings. I was homegrown in the heart of Minneapolis and it is a joy to be back home with my nine year old daughter; who all about cats and space (Charis), and my four year old; who is currently spinning around the house in a princess dress belting out Disney songs (Elowen). We love to hike, support our local organic farms, shop at our favorite local businesses, and get our hands messy with dirt or paint. I will forever be captive by the romance of these lakes, forests, forever skies, and the way that all of us who come here find in each other long lost friends. I feel immensely lucky to have found this home in the middle of so much colorful culture and I'm excited to continue fulfilling my passion of witnessing your magic behind my lens.
