Thought it might be about time I introduce myself! 👋
I’m Victoria, born in Santa Cruz, CA and raised here in beautiful Ann Arbor, MI. Growing up I learned a love of art from my mom - a lifelong artist, she taught me about color, composition, and the history of fine arts. I found my place in theater, performing in all of my school musicals, acapella groups, and choir.
My love for theater evolved during my time at the University of Michigan where I earned my degree in Film studies. I graduated in 2015 and have since worked across the country on commercial sets and TV productions. I later found my way back to the stage working as a photographer for a national dance competition. It was here I discovered a passion for capturing movement and live performance.
I moved back to Ann Arbor over Covid and in that time formed the idea of Sixth Street Studio alongside my mom. Through our shared love of visual storytelling we’d hoped to work together. Our time was cut short when she unexpectedly passed away this past April.
Sixth Street Studio is a tribute to her lifelong passion for art. Here I hope to create timeless, expressive images that honor my mother’s artistry and the beauty that she gave to the world. ❤️
