I'm going to start making "Truth Jars". I've heard people (as adults with moms who had passed away) say "I wish my mom was here to tell me that things were going to be ok". That thought sparked an idea for me. Truth jars will be jars with decorative slips of paper inside. The idea is that as a parent you would fill out the slips with pieces of truth that you want your child to hold on to. Examples would be "This too shall pass", "Everything will be ok", "I love you so much", "Remember how valuable you are" etc. This is something that kids could utilize as children if a parent is away and they are missing that parent (they could pull a slip out and read it before bed) or as an adult who is still needs some love and affirmation. I will be selling these for $15 + $4 US shipping. You would get to choose the color of your jar lid and the color of the paper included. I will only be doing a limited number of these at first so please comment with your paypal address if you would like to put an order in!
