Email or message to schedule a session I've always wanted to be an artist. Until recently, I didn't believe that I was good enough.

I'm a full-time artist located in Waterloo, IA, love to bake, have a wonderful husband who loves that I love to bake, a cute dog (Lola) who is the most gentle giant there is, and there are like a lot of plants here.

I've been a professional photographer since 2013 after graduating from art school. TikTok has taught me that's the dirty work of imposter syndrome. Maybe it's from the global pandemi

c, going to therapy, or becoming a certain age that's made me realize I can't be anything but me. As an artist I've heard a lot of "who would buy that" or "why". It occurred to me recently that those questions are actually rhetorical. ​Sure, I hope everyone wants to buy it, but that's not a realistic goal. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I recently redid my entire website and opened an online shop!! The shop is a newer endeavor. I'm excited to watch it grow!

I haven't had a lot of art to share recently. I've been working hard to keep up with Three Rivers Kringla, LLC and life in general. Any free time I have goes towards the Humboldt Farmer's Market.
All of the Facebook/Instagram posts and signage are created by me. It doesn't seem like a lot of work, but it adds up. I suppose I could share some of my market photos here. Every market I'm taking photos for the blog I write, www.humboldtfarmersmarket.com. Professionally speaking, they're not my best or most challenging work, but I do try to nicely capture our vendors and activities while also being a vendor.
I will be hosting a free kids' back to school photo booth at our next market Saturday, August 24th!

I have a few families and a wedding to photograph this fall, but not a lot on the books as far as photos are concerned. I could squeeze in some sessions if anyone in the Humboldt area is needing photos done.

Same goes for art shows. I'm okay with that. Though, I do wish there was more time to regularly create more art. I've started a few things and have detailed ideas waiting for the time to come to fruition.

I miss creating art and photographing more, but I've been working hard on a lot of other things I'm proud of. Moving back to the Humboldt area last year has me busier than ever and a little quiet on my personal social media pages.
I'm hoping this winter I can have the time to be "bored" again 🤣
