I'm so appreciative that I was able to create magic with Kacie again! This is "Autumn Abundance" 🍁🍂✨. Autumn is my favorite and not just because of the brilliance, Halloween & the magic the season brings but because it involves letting go. Just as the trees let go of their leaves every year, we should also shed old beliefs/patterns, pain, and relationships that no longer serve us to make space. It is a time to start anew...for reflection, self-growth and rebirth. Before we go into deep winter and darkness, there is autumn that sheds & then gathers abundance...storing it up for spring's renewal. Life is a spiral and cyclical. We all go through challenging life chapters but it's the way that we let go, learn & keep getting back up stronger to meet the next one that matters. Kacie & I wanted to create a vision depicting this vibe and as I am sure that you will agree, she is pure talent in bringing it forth!!

To say that Mandy "got the assignment" is an understatement! Her words "see what happens when an artist and subject understand the assignment..it becomes more than posing - it is felt." We vibed perfectly. This shoot was something I've had in mind for a very long time. They say that grief is love with nowhere to go. I think most people will be able to deeply relate to the many chapters in our life but in particular how we move through these chapters of grief (and not just romantic relationships but also loss of other relationships, dreams, health, etc. as well as most importantly self) and turn our pain into powerful lessons in order to grow. We can learn to embrace the darkness & turn it into light. Grief changes us. This shoot is about how we can mourn what is lost and have the darkness ultimately soften us. The most that we can hope to have, truly, is to face the Darkness, find our Rebirth and claim Peace. Nothing is ever lost for good, although changed, if we can achieve this. Shadow work is very real. There is no light without darkness, no peace without acceptance and honoring our past and its lessons. I hope that you can feel something with these images.
