Seeing this sweet boy run around in the pumpkin patch brings me so much happiness! Each step is filled with wonder and laughter. I just can’t get enough of these beautiful fall days! I had the privilege and blessing of photographing this wonderful family. Sharla wished to capture these memories before her family embarks on different paths. Carson recently graduated high school and enlisted in the Army, and Caleb is diving into an internship before his final year of college. Despite a cloudy start at our session, the clouds parted, and we were graced with a stunning golden hour. Praying for safety over the boys this next year.

I have such a soft spot for high school sweethearts. Lance and Sharla have a beautiful connection and have created a gorgeous life and family together (family pictures to be posted soon!). Well, hello! It’s me—the face behind the camera! So often, with my little photography business, I receive inquiries from new friends who haven’t met me in person, and then we schedule to meet up in the middle of a field, and they haven’t even seen my face! I thought it would be a good idea to post a little about myself for those who don’t know me well and share some of my photos.

I am Elisha, a Texas girl born and raised! I am a hopeless romantic married to my high school sweetheart, Stephen, and we have four sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren. On the weekend, you can most likely find us at a sporting event (I will be on the ground taking pictures!). I am a creative soul and love photography, making cakes, floral arrangements, interior decorating, and more!

I love to make others smile more than anything and have found my passion through photography. What a blessing!

And a little side note: These photos are most definitely out of my comfort zone. I am a somewhat shy, reserved, and clumsy individual. I have to give massive credit to my husband for taking the time to learn how to use my camera and take these pictures for me. If that isn’t a supportive partner, I don’t know what is! He is my rock!

When one chapter ends, a new one begins.

This was a special session because this is my sweet nephew and niece. My sister and brother-in-law have one flying the nest and another graduating kindergarten.

Caden is closing the doors to grade school, and a new adventure awaits him with college and living independently. I know he will do amazing things, and I can't wait to see him excel!

And Sweet Maryn is so excited to start 1st grade! I know she is going to rock it and has a bright future!

3. In just three days, this sweet couple is getting married. Three years ago, they did some tough things. They put their selfishness aside and made decisions they knew would be best for their future. Pretty impressive at 18! They did the hard work of a long-distance relationship for three long years, and their parents are crazy proud of them.

As a mom, I could not ask for my son to marry a better woman. I am sure you can see how proud she is of my son in these pictures. Kelsie was more ecstatic about his graduation than he was! But that is just how Brenden and Kelsie are. They are always encouraging one another. They always brag about each other when the other isn't even around.

Without a doubt, these two will last a lifetime. ❤️

This is a long overdue post! On a personal note, to say that his dad and I are proud of him would be a vast understatement.

Three years ago, Brenden decided to move from Texas to Michigan, leaving his family, friends, and sweet girlfriend to begin college at the University of Michigan. He was excited to meet new friends and further his education.

While at Michigan he met the most amazing group of men through BYX. He managed to excel in his school work and graduated in three years with honors. We are most proud of the way he has handled his responsibilities. During his senior year he juggled church, two jobs, and a full course load. He did so all while keeping a long-distance relationship back home and managing to keep in touch with Mom and Dad, too!
