I had never visited this area before and was killing time before an appointment, so I drove up this new road to the top and the hill, needless to say, I will be going up the hill more and more now .. :)

Nikon Z5, ISO-100 at f/10 for 1/60th sec, 00mm zoomed.... The photo is comprised of 5 photos taken hand held, then stitched and processed in Lightroom.

Alfred Solomon Grasslands, Ft Edward, NY

I went to one of my typical birding spots to walk around on Tuesday evening. It was very warm and buggy, and I was feeling frustrated at my lack of good shots and horrendous bugs.

I was walking back to my car and this beautiful, healthy looking cottontail hopped into the path ahead of me. I sat down on the grass and he kept hopping towards me. The beautiful golden hour light and close up interaction with the local wildlife made the trip well worth it.
