In 2009, I left my corporate job to work from home so that I could spend more time with my then one year old daughter, Claire. It was at this time that London Lane Studio was born. What began as a wedding stationery business that barely helped pay even a single bill became a successful wedding photography business that helped support my family.
As of today, a decade later, this business that I have grown over the past ten years has come to an end. It was not an easy decision but one I needed to make for my family. For every wedding I spent with an incredible family, I was missing time with mine.
I’m so excited about this next chapter in our lives. Fortunately, I have been able to use my photography and graphic design skills as the creative director at our church where my husband is now the senior pastor. This spring we will begin building our dream home (and my dream farm) on 8 acres out in the country where we will teach our children the value of hard work and allow them to experience the fruits of their labor.
To all of my previous clients...thank you! Your faith in me and my work means more than you will ever know. Each of you will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. To Irene ()...London Lane would not be what it is without you. Your friendship is one of the biggest blessings this business brought me and I can’t imagine my life without you and your precious family. To my family...thank you for supporting me all these years. I truly could not have done it without your constant love and encouragement. To Justin...thank you for believing in me 10 years ago when I came to you with this crazy idea of starting my own business. You continue to still make my dreams come true.
Blessings, Amanda
