Sometimes people cross our paths at the exact moment we need them most, without even realizing it.
I walked up to Gigi Browning's booth, Dorothy's Gardens, at the market this morning feeling a bit heavy-hearted. Taking photos is just a personal hobby of mine, but when she saw me with my camera, she kindly asked if I’d take a few pictures of her flower stand. In return, she offered to make a bouquet just for me.
I told her my favorite colors, and I watched as she carefully put together this breathtaking arrangement. We never truly know what someone else is going through on any given day, but Gigi’s simple act of generosity made the world of difference to mine.
A kind word is always lovely, but having something beautiful created specifically for me touched my heart in a way I didn't know I needed. Gigi doesn't just grow gorgeous flowers—she has a quiet gift for bringing light into people's lives. I'm so deeply thankful for her kindness today and can't wait to visit Dorothy's Gardens at future Malchow Plaza Farmers Markets!
