It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart to post the passing of Rev. Dr. Simon Ngor Awijok, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗯𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗯𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗻 (PCoSS).
Rev. Dr. Simon Ngor passed away this morning in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, after battling illness for some time.
His passing is a great loss to the Church, his family, relatives, friends, colleagues, and the wider Cøllø community. We remember with gratitude his life, ministry, service, and contribution to the work of God and the Church.
At this difficult moment, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, relatives, friends, fellow ministers, the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan, the Cøllø community, and the people of South Sudan.
