How wonderful it would be if from the very beginning we met our partner just as we wished, along with eternal love. And it is true happiness if such a thing really happens, as it did with us. But falling in love is only the first stop, and afterwards begins the real work — mostly on oneself. In relationships, especially long ones, everything is like in life: disappointments and setbacks. And sometimes it takes effort, a very STRONG DESIRE to keep going. To keep working on yourself, to understand your lessons, to accept everything as experience, to be grateful and to forgive. And all these efforts are worth it, if they come from BOTH SIDES. Then, in the end, comes the realization that love is a GIFT — a reward for patience, awareness, and the ability to see in each other not only a partner but also a mirror for one’s own growth. And only then does it become true — deep and mature.
