I recently took the new Canon EOS R8 Mark II to the field, and honestly, I was really impressed with how this camera performed.

There are quite a few new additions compared to the R8, but what I also found interesting is how much technology from Canon’s bigger hybrid cameras has made its way into this smaller, lightweight body. 📷

For me, as a travel and wildlife photographer, a few things really stood out.

The autofocus for animals and people, Pre-Continuous Shooting, the lightweight body and the improved stabilization all made a difference when I was out in the wilderness.

And I think that’s what I enjoyed most about it.

The EOS R8 Mark II definitely gave me that feeling.

I’m excited to take this camera even into further places in Tanzania and showcasing the beauty of what it captures over the time.

I can confidently say this today, you can be a content creator without owning a professional camera. Sometimes, all you need is the phone already in your hands 💯

I just added the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to my travel kit and honestly...I’m seriously amazed by what the camera can do. The quality, the details, and the way it captures the moments I experience while travelling have genuinely impressed me.

So, if you’ve been waiting for the perfect camera before starting your content creation journey, start with your phone. Start with what you have. Just start.

One thing I’ve learned as a creator is that the creative part is only one side of the business. Getting paid, dealing with international clients and making sure everything is sorted before a project starts matters too.

That’s where NALA comes in for me.
