The weather decided I’ve got to wait a while before hanging painting at .taiwan as scheduled. I am waterproof but my paintings and sculptures, although some made in the rain, are not. Let’s practise instead, this is a Taiwanese melody that blared out in a raspy speaker of a lorry once a week in the early 90s, when I lived in Taipei for a stretch. The voice of children would sing the melody, followed by a man. There was a pop version in the early 80s, but I struggle to remember the middle bit, maybe because the other lorries were playing Für Elise. I’ve improvised the part where the man sang his solo. If you know the entire original song, not the pop version, please send me the link. I would love to hear it again. 🙏🌱💫
