I ran a photography business for awhile, and have left this page up for the sake of my former client

My name is Dani and once-upon-a-time I took pictures for people - weddings, portraits, and events. I love working with people trying to capture some of the beauty God sees in each person. My husband and I have relocated to New Zealand, and we now have two beautiful girls (with a third baby on the way), and my photo-taking is mostly limited to my family or gift sessions for friends. But I'm leaving this FB page active so my former clients still have access to their photos.

Perhaps one of my favorite photo assignments to date: a sunset beach surprise proposal. This night was such a fun way to get back into photo-taking practice - and for one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful couples I know. I can't wait for their wedding next year!

This sweet little girl was born on Easter Sunday! We weren't sure we'd get to meet her, but our 30 hours back in Chiang Mai lined up perfectly for a quick little hospital photo session. She was so calm and happy for the whole time, and wide awake until the very end. It was a joy to spend a little time with her!

Mary and Jonah met up with Gabe and me for a round of portraits early Saturday morning. It rained the entire time. They were such troopers!!! But I think it was worth it...

My dear sister was SUPER patient letting me finish up editing her photos... Even to the extent that I gave them to her, and then I decided I wasn't TOTALLY happy with them, and I begged her not to upload them to social media until I could re-edited them ALL! And she didn't - now that's an amazing sister. :) And now... they're finally done :)
