Such an honor capturing these moments from our very first yoga retreat in Chiang Mai Thailand

Something I always dreamed of doing when I was younger was traveling the world and documenting the human experience. When I officially “retired” from photography i let that dream go, not knowing how much it would become my reality.

It didn’t look how I thought it would look,
it is better than anything I could ever have imagined.

March, 2020 - “home” A self portrait project from the early days of the pandemic.

I suppose I’ve always loved weird self portraits, in my early days of photography it was all I was really influenced by.

These wildly different and intimate pictures where you really felt the soul of the character being portrayed.

For whatever reason I had personal blocks that always prevented me from creating the art that I wanted to. Fear of judgement, fear of failure, whatever it is that twenty somethings deem as so important.

As I near five years later, I near the beginning my thirties.

Im entering an entire new era of doing things I love just for the sake of doing them. Doing things just because I can.

I now truly believe that is the only kind of energy necessary for perfect art.
