The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) reminds passengers that power banks must be carried in carry-on baggage only.

🔋 Maximum capacity:
• Up to 100 Wh without approval
• 100–160 Wh requires airline approval
• Maximum 2 power banks per passenger

❌ Not allowed:
• In checked baggage or overhead compartments
• Charging or using power banks during the flight
• Power banks without a visible capacity label

Passengers should keep power banks with them at all times and follow airline safety instructions.

🔥 Introducing THIM (Thailand Immigration Management System)
Good news! Thailand Immigration is enhancing its services to provide greater convenience for more than 30 million international visitors each year.
📌 Key Features of the THIM App
🔸 Pre-Arrival Registration
Foreign travelers can use the THIM app, which integrates the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), to complete their personal and travel information before arriving in Thailand.
🔸 Faster and More Convenient
The app features passport scanning (OCR) and e-KYC verification, reducing registration time to just 2–3 minutes for first-time users and less than 1 minute for returning users, as basic information will already be stored in the system.
🔸 Reduced Immigration Processing Time
THIM is designed to help reduce immigration checkpoint processing times to no more than 40 seconds per traveler.
🔸 A Future Super App for Foreign Residents
In future phases, THIM will expand to support a wide range of services for expatriates and long-term foreign residents, including 90-day reporting, e-Visa extensions, appointment booking, and requests for official documents, reducing the need to visit immigration offices in person.
📲 The THIM – Thai Immigration Bureau application is currently available for pilot download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Full-scale implementation and expanded services are planned for October 2026
