Around the same time, William Henry Fox Talbot developed the calotype process, which allowed for the creation of multiple copies from a single negative, a precursor to modern photographic techniques.
The late 19th century saw significant advancements with the introduction of roll film by George Eastman, founder of Kodak. This innovation made photography more accessible to the general public, as it simplified the process and reduced costs.
