"I have been setting up a stall at this market for years, and with Covid, it has got tougher. The heat, the mask, moving my stall every time a train passes by but I am determined not to give up! The little I earn, I take pride in it because I have earned it, ethically and through my hard work - that is the legacy and lesson I want to leave behind."

`Every time the train passes by, I have to move, wind up and then re-set up. What is amusement to tourists is a necessity for me. It is tough and can be frustrating but I still think this is better than doing nothing. These tracks are my livelihood’

"Life has not been easy for me. I experienced so many failures but I always fought through them and this perseverance has been a great motivator. I have always reminded myself of the enormous potential within and of the things I want to achieve!
Life has been full of hurdles and crossing each of them with a smile has been my aim. I kept setting and achieving goals, one higher after another. The more difficult the goal, the harder I worked for it and this process kept me on my toes. These challenges have not just made me a stronger individual but also made my life interesting; after all, just like with a heartbeat monitor, a flat line means death. Failure cannot stop me from achieving my dreams"
