My first time to fly with a permit here in singapore to take aerial photos of marina bay singapore. the permit cost $60sgd for a specific day and time and for 1000ft (296m)above mean sea level. I and my friends thought that we can share a permit together but it turns out one permit one person only so i have to bear all the cost myself. its really worth it to have a permit, only the time is not enough as i have to be in two locations because CAAS did not approve my first flight path so i have to take off near the flyer and another location near the seating gallery. thankfully i was given a longer flying time than what i applied for, instead of 6pm to 9pm they gave me 6pm to 11 pm.
for those who want to apply for a permit, you can visit caas.gov.sg website and search for class 2 activity permit. just to remind you that the permit is only for recreational and personal purposes only. if you are applying because you are contracted by someone or by a company, you also have to apply for Operator's permit. apply two weeks before your intended flight.

P.S. permit is only required if you are flying more than 60m above mean sea level. drone registration is mandatory in singapore regardless of permit.

MonteMaria Batangas - The Mother of All Asia, known as Montemaria International Pilgrimage and Conference Center, It is a vast estate that serves as a retreat place, a pilgrimage destination, and a tourist attraction. This ambitious project is now becoming a reality, an 88M tall statue of the Virgin Mary. the construction began since 2014 and until now still on-gong. The statue alone is technically taller than some of the world’s notable landmarks like the Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and the Statue of Liberty in US. This project aims to develop this place not just as a pilgrim center but also as a world destination.
Monte Maria is accessible via public transport. jeepney terminal is located at the back of SM Batangas bound to Ilihan, fare is around P40pesos just tell the driver to drop you off at Monte Maria, 45minutes travel time. the most convenient way is to drive with your own car via batangas-tabangao-lobo road which is 19kms away.
