TLDR: KFC’s biggest Pokémon collaboration yet features themed outlets, exclusive collectibles, Pokémon GO activations, Trading Card Game tutorials and a new Japanese Nanban menu from 19 August to 29 September.
Pokémon fans are going to want to mark their calendars.
From 19 August to 29 September, KFC Singapore is launching one of its biggest collaborations yet with Pokémon, transforming all 71 outlets into Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms while rolling out exclusive merchandise, themed restaurants, beginner friendly Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials and a brand new Japanese inspired menu.
Five selected outlets will each represent a different Pokémon type. Head to NEX for Water, JEM for Fire, Kallang for Electric, Compass One for Ghost and Jurong Point for Grass. Expect themed decorations, exclusive photo spots and special Pokémon decals throughout the campaign.
Collectors can also get their hands on exclusive merchandise including reversible Pokémon blind pouches, Poké Ball Buckets, gaming chopsticks, a Charizard Evolution jacket, Pikachu car neck pillows and Pokémon sticker sheets, with different launch dates and qualifying purchases.
There is plenty happening beyond the food too. KFC will host more than 200 free Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorial sessions across five outlets in September, alongside a Pikachu Meet and Greet at Kallang, *SCAPE and Jurong Point on 29 August.
On the menu, KFC is introducing its Japanese Nanban range featuring the Japanese Nanban Zinger, Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites, Japanese Nanban Loaded Fries and Sweet Potato Balls.
