Girish Jamadagni Photography Contact me for photography tours in Africa (Masai Mara, Serengeti, etc) and India (Jim Corbett) Photography is one of my hobbies. I use Canon 7D Mkii.

Though I am interested in shooting anything and everything, I spend long hours outdoors taking pics of birds! Of late have been using my new lens 600mm f4, which is exceptional. Have 70-200mm EF, 2.8L IS II USM telephoto zoom apart form other lenses. Occasionally I use Extender EF 2x III. I do not use Photoshop, but I do minor post processing editing to remove noise, adjust colour & light

Seeing lions in the morning on an African safari offers the best chance to view active behavior, cool temperatures, and golden light photography. Dawn is peak time for hunting, walking, and playful pride interactions before the heat sets in. This one seems to got up to the smell of coffee 😊

The last man standing! King Oloimina is the dominant male lion of the renowned Rongai Pride and the last surviving member of the famous Black Rock Coalition in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Renowned for his resilience and protective nature, he has become a legendary figure in the Mara ecosystem.

Oloimina rose to fame alongside his powerful brothers (including Oloshipa and Lorkulup), dominating a vast territory stretching from the Sand River to the Talek and Figtree areas.

This handsome fellow has been doing good after all his brothers left this world. Hope he continues to roar and rule the savannah for the years to come!
