2nd OOH Campaign of the year for !

Always happy to be trusted by my client-turned-friend/Suit/Art Director ! Somehow we always managed to work miracles out in short spans of time and challenging budget!

We were tasked to create images for a campaign to encourage travellers to explore the lesser known parts of Singapore with Amex and so we brainstormed and collaborated on the creative direction hand-in-hand within hours!

The idea was to shoot the talent’s backview and play with the copy “Step in with Amex”, creating 2 images for the MRT’s platform screen doors.

Me being me (sometimes my intrusive thought just comes out), I said “why 2? Let’s go with 4!”

Within 2 weeks of production from end-to-end with limited budget and resources, I’ll say it’s a job well done!

2nd OOH Campaign of the year for !

Always happy to be trusted by my client-turned-friend/Suit/Art Director ! Somehow we always managed to work miracles out in short spans of time and challenging budget!

30. The Big 3. A milestone that only comes once in a lifetime.

Looking back, my life has been a rollercoaster—full of ups and downs, wins and losses. I’m incredibly blessed with my beautiful wife, and I have the rare privilege of calling my passion and hobby a career.

But at 30, my industry feels like a sunset one, at least in Singapore. I no longer feel in demand. Somehow forgotten. Nearly a decade in, countless hours and sleepless nights later, and I find myself back at square one. Not much to show for it except for some images, some reels that barely get watched. And back to sleepless nights of self-doubt.

This industry is brutal. A 5% success rate for every pitch—months of effort, commitment, and prep work done, with no guarantee of anything. And even when the job is won, from day one to the final delivery, it’s a constant uphill battle. High risk, low margins, and a reality that wears you down.

I won’t lie—I’m tired. My flame is nothing but embers at this point.

I miss the fire I had at 20. Or even 25.

When your work becomes such a huge part of your identity, it’s impossible for it not to affect you deeply.

Turning 30 is bittersweet. I’m grateful to be here, grateful for my wife, grateful for love and life. But my career? It has left me feeling empty. Lost.

As I step into this new decade, my birthday wish is simple—to find hope again. To rediscover what I love. To reignite the passion I once had.

And maybe, just maybe, to finally be proud of myself.

Here’s to 30. And to fewer sleepless nights of self-doubt.

And to my wife Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Had the honours of lensing 5 films in 2 days for , for Nippon Vietnam! ! Took us but only the most talented 1AD, Cam Ops and Lighting Team as well as literally the MAD Production to pull it off!

Had to run two camera units simultaneously to meet the time limitations as well as splitting the lights and equipment up so it was really a tough game of logistics but we managed to work around it!

Lensed it on the Athena Primes with 2 x FX6 to keep the production nimble and quick to swap around camera units and share minimal lenses!

The XT and LS series were also a lifesaver here as we had multiple 9Ks and 4Ks HMIs running and were low on power. Being able to have enough firepower from the LEDs and still run conservatively on power was very important.

We literally shot until we had 2 mins of petrol left for the genny! Talk about cutting it close!

I’m honoured to be able to direct this Tesla Singapore spec-ad, where the Cybertruck became a symbol of sustainable innovation, growth, and a greener future.

It was a great creative challenge to say the least: creating a car ad that’s not legally allowed on the road!

So I turned to movie magic, what we know and do best. I made use of light programming and choreographed camera movements to simulate motion and dynamism

To hint at our Asian roots, I also infused subtle elements of Wayang, an Indonesian shadow play.

Huge thanks to and for trusting me with this project and inviting me to bring this vision to life. Was thrilled to be the first DOP to used the new Infinimat 20x20 and the 1200X. 😆

With zero budget but endless passion, this dream became a reality thanks to incredible partners and crew who came in and contribute with no questions asked. Forever grateful and much love to everyone! It really takes a village! ❤️

Recently did a TVC and Print Campaign for with and !

It’s been awhile since I’ve done an OOH ad, and man, spotting my own work never gets old!

Shot with my trusty GFX100ii, medium format with such amazing eye-af and speed is just unfair at this point, feels like I’m shooting with aimbot on!

《Ginza in Motion》

Taking full advantage of the newly built-in 6.0 stops of IBIS and the internal ND filter of the X100VI, I was able to create long exposures up to 1 full second handheld, on a busy street in Ginza.

Love the moving subjects against a backdrop full of luxury shopping malls, kinda almost revealing the brands as they zoom across the frames.

So, finally I’m able to share that I’ve been using the brand new X100VI for the past few months!

Having a little pocket rocket like that with power packed features built into a such a handy form factor really changed the way I document my travels. I no longer have to carry a few lenses and bodies or extra ND filters.

Thank you and for having me onboard this special programme! It was truly such a blast!

It’s been over a year the making but it’s official to start the year! Super happy to be on board with as their X-Photographer.

Amongst the 1001 reasons why I love their cameras in both professional and personal capacities, the most important of all is the joy that I get while shooting. After all, my career is my hobby and passion!
