Our Board of Advisor Padma Jairam, Counselling Psychologist will be doing a sharing session, a closed door event for the volunteers of Kolam Ayer. Looking forward to providing support to the first responders in our community.

If you ever wonder who is behind the PGR team, they are managed 100% by volunteers from all walks of life. As co founders, if we had not been given the hope, trust and, compassion by our volunteers we would not have been able to move things forward.

Never underestimate the power of unity, because with a community we can impact more lives. Despite the many things happening around the world, as an individual we can do good within our own capacities.

We can never create lives but we can IMPACT A LIFE.
If all we do impacts only 1 PERSON, then it WILL be
"1 LIFE AT A TIME." and that's all matters.

Many of us, and survivors or victims of any kind of trauma or abuse, have had difficulties finding a channel or pillar of support because of the stigma surrounding mental health.

Worse, sufferers who are judged by others tend to internalize the negative comments and blame themselves for the many things not within their control.

We want you to know that what you have gone through, or are going through, is not your fault, and you deserve every bit of love and support.

Often then not we always ask ourselves and the people around us, what is wrong, and immediately everything that is wrong comes to our mind. Negativity is a natural in a human mind, it runs on auto pilot for me too. When I started asking myself, what is NOT wrong today, my mind went blank. I had to deliberately think of the good things that happened. And that is being mindful, and that is gratitude taking place. Much Love, Ling
