Milky Way season 2026 has officially arrived, and I am thrilled to announce a series of upcoming photo tours to capture the stunning galactic core! Whether you are a seasoned astrophotographer or picking up a camera for the first time, this is the perfect year to join our community under the stars.
The 2026 season offers several prime windows for capturing the galaxy's bright center:
Early Season (February – May): The core begins rising in the early morning hours. April and May are particularly notable for "panorama season," when the Milky Way arch stretches horizontally across the sky.
Peak Season (June – August): These months provide the best visibility, with the core visible for most of the night.
Late Season (September – October): The core becomes visible immediately after sunset, shifting toward the southwest before the season concludes in late October.
Join My 2026 Photo Tours! Yes, I am organizing these tours to help you master techniques in capturing the milky way in Bintan and Sibu Island with its Bortle 3 skies. Slots are limited in each tour to ensure everyone gets personalized coaching. If you’re ready to stop waiting and start shooting, reach out to join me for an unforgettable 2026 season!
