【明】交领补服 — 乌衣贝贝
此件设计是仿孔府旧藏中的麒麟补服。马面裙则是仿妆花马面裙，妆花工艺是南京云锦织造工艺当中最复杂的品种，是到今日无法用机器替代的工艺。
【Ming】Crossed Collared Bufu
This piece of Bufu is a replica of the Qilin Bufu found within the collection of Ming dynasty clothing from the Kong Residence. The skirt of this set is a replica of the weaving technique called Zhuanghua in which intricate designs and patterns are weaved into the fabric. The process is labor intensive and artistic therefore until today, the technique cannot be replaced by machines.

补子指的是衣服中间的的图案，在明代是一个能表着一个人的官位品级的象征。这种装饰大方又不失优雅，是一款让人爱不释手的汉服单品！

Buzi(补子) refers to the design in the middle of the clothing. It is commonly worn on the most outer layer. During Ming dynasty, the patterns is also used to represent the ranking of an official in court. The style of this piece is hanfu is poised, elegant thus making it a timeless and classic piece.

The design of this piece is inspired by the artifacts from the Kong Residence in Shandong Province, China. The intricate designs of the gold weave shows the status of the wearer. This piece is made of a thin frantic which is suitable for the hot climates such as here in Singapore.

The prize this time will be a Double Sided Pouch.
This pouch is a replica of pouches from the Huang Sheng excavation site in Fuzhou. The discovery of the site uncovers many textile artifacts from the Southern Song Dynasty and portrays the advanced textile industry during that period. The way to wear this pouch is to hang it on the waistband of your Hanfu! Are you interested in experiencing how was it like to be a noble lady in the Song Dynasty?
