I haven’t posted in a while. I’m sorry. Here are some dogs from dogs shelter in Saint Petersburg, Russia that I took last summer. These are older dogs that will unlikely get adopted and will live out their lives in the shelter. I know everyone is helping animals in Ukrainian shelters now, and thank god for everyone’s compassion and help for these poor animals in such a sad time, but dogs in Russian shelters need your help too. Because of the war, animal shelters in Russia are suffering as well, all these shelters rely solely on donations and these have dwindled due to the current situation. Sometimes it is difficult to even find sufficient funds to buy food for these dogs, it’s a struggle every day to keep them fed, healthy and warm (Russian winters are no joke). It’s not the dogs faults that there is horrible war going on right now, they deserve better then this. 😢😢 if anyone wants to help let me know (it might be tricky without speaking Russian)
