Four days that felt like stepping into another century.
I was completely captivated by the historic details throughout 𝐶ℎ𝑎̂𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑢 𝑑𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑢𝑐𝑒́𝑒𝑙 - 𝑀𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝑆𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑀𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑙, and even more by the family who continue to care for it, generation after generation.
Each evening, we gathered in the beautifully appointed main salon, where Count Régis de Roquefeuil would join guests to share stories of the château’s history, always delivered with warmth, wit, and charm. The attentive yet discreet service made the experience even more special.
Nestled in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel and surrounded by 11 hectares of parkland, Château de Boucéel is exactly the kind of place that inspires me as a photographer: a rare meeting of history, light, and architecture.
