Every wedding morning looks a little different. The energy of the friends and family, the couple, what they are doing in preparation for the wedding, how that morning kind of unfolds - it’s all hyper specific to the couple. I think one of my favorite things about a Rincón wedding is that you have the freedom to spend the day how you want. You’re not as burdened by the USA customs and traditions that make those weddings seem formulaic. For some, we hit the beach and surf. For others, we’re poolside. For Arden and Jody, the morning was super relaxed, surrounded by their friends and family, and of course, there was some really good tequila.

From the beach front ceremony to the poolside cocktail hour. Loved this collective painting idea, each guest was invited to add a design / stroke to the painting. Plus two cute shots off the film camera, one highlighting the back of the dress and one of a very happy and in love couple 🥹

Today we bring a sneak peek of what a beach front ceremony could look like in Rincón. Just down the beach from Casa Isleña Rincon (where they’re having the reception and we’ll get to that tomorrow), it’s a convenient beach front area that can hold a large amount of guests and give you those Carribean blues, tall palms, and a jungle like entrance for your wedding party. When the ceremony ends, one of my favorite parts of a wedding begins. The friends and family all gather round to hug and kiss and celebrate. One of the best times for catching real smiles and joy.

We did one for the boys now it’s time for the brides 🥂. We’re so lucky to have brides who feel like friends and just have the *vibe* 🥰. Every wedding is different and we try to change our style of shooting to capture the energy and authenticity of each day - whether you’re kicking your new husband’s ass in dominoes 😉, watching your daughter fluff your dress, or throwing attitude to the camera with your best friends and crushin’ it - the one thing that stays the same is that we’re watching for every micro moment of emotion that forms candidly while also managing the balance of setting you up for that perfect frame. 📸 we have been busy in the editing room and we can’t wait to share the wedding films that are coming up next 🥲 ~ stay tuned!

This one is for the grooms 🍻 our grooms who have made the mornings easy going, who have made us tear up for first looks and ceremonies, and who have impressed us with their style both on and off the dance floor.

A few frames that I feel match our three promises to every couple we work with. From the getting ready moments to the special cultural ceremonies, and to the wedding events after (like cave tubing under a cave with all of your friends and family) - we’re here for it all.

Our three promises:

1. Awareness - the most important part of your day is celebrating the love you share with friends and family. You won’t find us blocking your parents’ view at the ceremony, or asking you to recreate a moment that already happened candidly. The guest experience is just as important to us as it is to you and sometimes, that means being extra attentive to where we are in a room or in a moment and how we are documenting.

2. Authenticity - it’s our job to document your love and your experience as it unfolds. True love stories told in the most creative, honest way possible. We live for the raw moments, whether on the aisle, in a quiet corner, or on the dance floor.

3. Fun - we have the incredible opportunity to immerse ourselves in your world, whether it’s for a week or one day. We meet new people, make friends, and celebrate the occasion while we document. Love and art is fun and having fun is fun. We want our photographs and films to remind you of all of the fun you and everyone else had.

Cruising around old San Juan in style. Alyssa’s and Ocean’s weeklong wedding included a boat cruise which was a beautiful mix of class and style 🥂 with good old wholesome family joy.

The island gifted Amanda and Joe a beautiful day for their wedding. It was definitely one for the books, but what we loved most about this wedding was the way that it all came together. Good lighting, ocean air, no over direction or a feeling that it was all a “production.” Amanda and Joe got to enjoy their wedding while we captured the day (mostly) candidly. It all came together naturally, and we were able to make the most of Rincón and shoot at our favorite places - Tres Palmas Marine Reserve for a first look and mini couple session, as the home base for the weekend, and for the ceremony and reception!
