ANETA KOWALCZYK to czwarta członkini jury PPF 2026!
Projektantka graficzna, fotoedytorka, projektantka książek oraz dyrektorka artystyczna BLOW UP PRESS — niezależnego wydawnictwa specjalizującego się w książkach fotograficznych i artystycznych. Jej podejście do projektowania książek opiera się na przekonaniu, że książka nie jest jedynie nośnikiem obrazów, lecz przestrzenią, w której forma i treść współtworzą znaczenie i sposób odbioru dzieła. Dla niej każdy projekt zaczyna się od historii, którą chce opowiedzieć, a design jest narzędziem, które pomaga wydobyć jej wyjątkowy charakter i pozwala jej w pełni wybrzmieć.
Współpracowała z fotografami, artystami i instytucjami z wielu państw na świecie. Projektowane przez nią książki zostały docenione w najważniejszych międzynarodowych konkursach, takich jak Les Rencontres d’Arles Book Awards, Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, Lucie Photo Book Award, PHotoESPAÑA, European Design Awards, Prix Bob Calle du livre d’artiste i wielu innych.

ANETA KOWALCZYK is the fourth member of the PPF 2026 jury!
Self-taught graphic designer, photo editor, book designer, and art director of BLOW UP PRESS, an independent publishing house specialising in photo- and art books. Her approach to book design is rooted in the belief that a book is not only a container for images, but a space where form and content work together to express its meaning and create a deeper experience for the reader. For her, each project begins with the story it wants to tell, with design serving as a tool to shape its character and amplify its impact.
She has collaborated with photographers, artists, and institutions internationally. Her book designs have been recognised by some of the most prestigious international competitions, including Les Rencontres d’Arles Book Awards, Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, Lucie Photo Book Award, PHotoESPAÑA, European Design Awards, and Prix Bob Calle du livre d’artiste, amongst others. In 2018, she was recognised as one of the three Magazine Visual Editors of the Year in Pictures of the Year International (POY75).
