Iran shot down another US MQ-9 Reaper drone over Hormozgan Province on Friday using a new air defense system. The US military has now lost at least 45 Reaper drones during the conflict, roughly a quarter of its entire fleet.

Each costs $30 million, bringing total losses to an estimated $1.3 billion. The manufacturer confirms fewer than 10 replacement aircraft are available for purchase.

Seven US Navy personnel have reportedly been killed and several others wounded in a violent clash aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, as growing unrest among the carrier’s crew has exposed mounting pressure inside the US military amid a prolonged deployment.

The incident erupted after an adviser to US Central Command (CENTCOM) chief Brad Cooper boarded the carrier to address mounting complaints from crew members following protests by their families over the ship’s prolonged deployment, according to Tasnim News Agency, citing an informed military source.

The adviser was reportedly met with boos and had water bottles thrown at him while addressing a gathering of personnel.

The confrontation subsequently escalated into a fight among crew members involving knives and other bladed weapons, leaving seven personnel dead and several others wounded, according to the source.

The atmosphere aboard the carrier remains tense and unsettled, Tasnim reported.

The Abraham Lincoln has been deployed for 263 days and is currently operating in the Indian Ocean, where its primary mission is to enforce an illegal naval blockade against Iran.

The carrier has spent 208 consecutive days at sea, the longest continuous deployment of any US aircraft carrier in the modern era, apart from a brief stop ...........

Iran's security forces warned Britain on Monday that it would become a "definite and legitimate target" if it supports US military operations against Iran.

The warning referenced British military assets in the region and came as US strikes on Iran entered their fifth consecutive day.

Iran has issued similar warnings to Italy and France over the use of their military infrastructure during the conflict.

US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Axios that the US is in "very deep talks" with Iran but that time for diplomacy is short.
He said:
"There's not much time. It's either going to happen quickly or not at all."
He also warned that the US is prepared for "very strong military action" if talks fail.
Trump has reportedly suspended air strikes on Iran at the request of regional mediators, but has said that military action will resume if diplomatic efforts fail.
The statement came after the US suspended daily air strikes on Friday, which had been in place for 13 days, to make room for talks on reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stood on the tarmac and saluted the caskets of American soldiers killed in the Iran conflict — a formal, dignified gesture, the kind reserved for the nation's fallen.

But behind that image is a harder truth many are reluctant to say out loud: this was a war shaped far more by Israel's security interests than by any direct threat to American soil.

These were American lives. American families. American funerals. Yet the war that took them was fought, in large part, to defend a foreign ally's position in the region — not to protect the United States itself.

A salute honors sacrifice. It doesn't explain it.

Families who bury their sons and daughters deserve more than a photo-op — they deserve a clear, honest account of why this war was worth their loss..
