Back in the time when Pakistanis used internet only for the sake of using Yahoo Chat, I used to do the same. But around that time, a friend introduced me to the concept of freelancing. To me, it didn’t seem genuine and I did not take him seriously. Later when I was working as an accountant at a company that paid me no more than 4000, I decided to give freelancing a shot. I started gaining knowledg
e about it and soon it landed me my first job. I still remember how I got paid $16 for a task that only took me 5 minutes to complete. It made me wonder that if freelancing paid me the same amount I was earning for working 15 days, then why not begin taking it seriously. I decided to continue free-lancing side by side. It was tough and most nights I barely got any sleep. Once the process kicked off for me, I decided to learn marketing as well, so I learned SEO and stepped up from there. It was a long and tiring journey but it led me to a point where I earned a sum of $60,000 from a single project in a month. I quit my job after that and focused solely on freelancing. I later decided to create a platform on social media to share my knowledge and allow others to share theirs, and today we have resulted in becoming a huge community, including people from India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, and there is something new to learn at all times. Now, my students are even earning thousands of dollars every month. I have always tried to benefit others with the knowledge I have gained, because learning is an on-going process and you never know what you might learn from someone that you try to teach.
