A Kalashi girl in Bumburet valley of Kalash, Chitral during the annual Chillam Joshi Festival.

Kalash people are a minority community of Pakistan living near Pak-Afghan Border, their culture is one of the most ancient and strongest in the whole region, the people of Kalash remained isolated from the outer world for centuries, Today however this beautiful and unique culture is on the verge of extinction and falling into decline, the community faces problems like forced conversions and threats from Taliban.

This is Khanda Peak, Kaghan Valley also known as Khanda K2 among the locals because of it's resemblance to K2. This picture was taken from Khori Base Camp during trek to Musa Ka Musala.
