Alhamdulillah.
On 8th January 2026, with deep gratitude to Allah, Abdul Basit completed a dream-driven mission—from the Hussaini Suspension Bridge of Pakistan, a symbol of courage and resilience, to the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge of China, the world’s highest bridge.

This incredible journey began on 16th November 2025, spanning a remarkable 5,000 kilometers and filled with challenges, faith, determination, and hope. It took him from Pakistan’s longest wooden bridge to the highest bridge on Earth.

His slogan was:
“LONG IN DISTANCE, HIGH IN REACH.”

This mission was not just a journey across borders, but a journey of hearts. It was carried out to promote the breathtaking tourism of Pakistan, deliver a message of peace to the world, and celebrate the unbreakable friendship between Pakistan and China.

This achievement belongs not only to him but to every soul who believes that dreams, when guided by faith and purpose, can connect nations—just like bridges do.

Adventurer Abdul Basit has successfully reached Aksu in Xinjiang as part of his solo motorbike journey from Beijing to Islamabad, marking a major milestone in his 5,554 km "Capital to Capital" expedition.

Hailing from Khudaabad, Gojal Hunza, and founder of Higher Ground Expedition, Basit began his journey on 19 July 2025 from Beijing. The 15-day expedition aims to promote cross-border friendship and cultural understanding between Pakistan and China. Riding through Inner Mongolia, Xi’an, and Urumqi, Basit is navigating deserts, mountains, and diverse landscapes while documenting local stories and hospitality.
