Sitting in the solitude of Madina, I often wonder what condition you and my beloved younger brother, Ali Asghar (a,s), must be enduring in the scorching desert. That innocent child, who had not yet witnessed the hardships of this world, perhaps restless with thirst, would lay his tiny head upon your chest seeking comfort.My eyes have grown weary waiting upon the roads, and my heart is filled with prayers. I long to see you all once more; I long to hold my little brother close to my chest. Whenever the thought of Karbala enters my mind, tears overwhelm my eyes, and with every passing moment, the pain of separation grows deeper.
